Feeding America estimates that 1.2 million Virginians are considered “food insecure.” In response to this urgent need, the Office of the Attorney General, The Young Lawyers Division of The Virginia Bar Association, and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks joined efforts in 2007 to create the Statewide Legal Food Frenzy—a food and fund drive competition among all Virginia law firms and legal organizations. To date, the Legal Food Frenzy has raised more than 14.2 million pounds of food.

From April 13 – April 27, 2018, Capital Area Food Bank needs each and every law firm, legal department, law office, law school, and court in Northern Virginia to participate in the 12th Statewide Legal Food Frenzy so we can reach our $80,000/200,000 meal goal. For every $10 raised, the Capital Area Food Bank can provide 25 meals to local children, families and seniors who are at risk of hunger. Join today by registering your firm, legal department, law school, or individual practice and sending a fundraising goal! All winners will be invited to a special award ceremony hosted by the Attorney General of Virginia.

100 Extra Points for registering by February 28, 2018.
